Today's readings shrink the sacred-secular divide down to nothing. Lists of ordinary names keeping a city alive, and a sentence from Paul that consecrates your entire calendar: whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

There is no unspiritual square inch in your week. Walk into today like that is true.

Nobody memorizes Nehemiah 11. But the city God was rebuilding ran on those names, gatekeepers and singers and one family in ten willing to relocate. Heaven kept the list. That is what glory looks like at street level: ordinary posts, faithfully held.

Paul just gave the same dignity to your Tuesday. Eating, drinking, whatever you do, all of it can be done for the glory of God, which means none of it is filler. The divide between your spiritual life and your regular life is not a line God drew. Erase it.
