Job cannot find God anywhere. Forward, backward, left, right, nothing. And then he says the sentence that turns the search inside out: but he knows the way that I take.

You do not have to locate God for God to have located you. If heaven has felt unfindable lately, today's reading was written from inside that fog.

Job's geometry lesson is the day's treasure. He cannot find God in any direction, and it does not matter, because the finding was never his job. He knows the way that I take. The fog blinds the traveler, never the Guide, and the testing has a destination: gold.

Paul gives the promise its anchor: every yes God ever spoke lands in Christ. Not yes when you feel Him, yes in Christ, which holds in the fog and out of it. Walk today by what He knows, not by what you can currently see.
