Obadiah is the Old Testament's shortest book, one page, one target: Edom, the brother-nation that watched Jerusalem burn from the cliffs and cheered. Though you soar like the eagle and make your nest among the stars, from there I will bring you down.

And John gets the opposite view today: a door standing open in heaven, and a throne that never trembles. Two altitudes. Only one holds.

Edom's fortress was geology, cliffs so high the question felt rhetorical: who can bring me down? Heaven answered in one page. Every nest among the stars, financial, reputational, national, sits under the same physics, and gloating from the cliffs while a brother burns is the surest way to test it.

Revelation 4 shows the only unfalling height: a throne, occupied, circled by worshipers who own crowns and keep laying them down. That is the posture that never gets brought low, because it is already down, gladly, before the Worthy One. Choose your altitude accordingly.
