Two horizons open today. Daniel sees the furthest Old Testament sight: multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, and the wise will shine like the stars.
And John names the engine that makes the long wait livable: there is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear. Resurrection ahead, love beneath. That is enough to finish any race.
Rest, and then you will rise: Daniel's personal sendoff compresses the whole hope of the gospel into five words, spoken centuries before Easter spelled them out. Death demoted to rest, resurrection scheduled, and in between, go your way, faithful ordinary days until the end.
Fear cannot survive in that architecture, which is John's point: perfect love, the love that moved first and sent the Son, drives fear out the way light handles dark. You do not conquer anxiety by arguing with it. You outlove it, or rather, you let yourself be outloved. Rest is coming. Rising after. Walk today unafraid.
