Joel starts in a stripped field, locusts have eaten everything, and ends at Pentecost: I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams.

God does not merely stop plagues; He restores their damage, years included, and then exceeds the restoration with something Israel never imagined: His own Spirit poured out on everyone, no age, gender, or class exempt. Revelation adds the guarantee behind every promise: the One who was dead is alive forever and holds the keys. Locust seasons do not get the last word in a universe run by Him. Rend your heart, hand Him the eaten years, and expect outpouring.
