A king hires a prophet to curse Israel, and the plan fails spectacularly: a donkey sees more than the seer, and every attempted curse comes out as blessing.

How can I curse those whom God has not cursed? Balaam asks, and the question still guards God's people. Today, watch heaven defend a nation that does not even know the meeting is happening.

Israel never saw Balak's altars or heard Balaam's oracles; they were camped in the valley, unaware that curses were being attempted and overruled above them. Some of God's best work for you happens in meetings you are not in. He has blessed, and no hired voice can amend it.

Zechariah's song names the reason the blessing holds: God remembers His holy covenant and keeps oaths across centuries, then sends sunrise to people in the dark. So walk today under blessing you did not arrange and cannot lose. And watch your own mouth, Proverbs-style: be someone whose words bless what God has blessed.
