John the Baptist looks up, sees Jesus walking by, and says the sentence he was born to say: behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Two disciples start following, and Jesus turns with a question worth hearing personally: what do you want? Their answer earns a lifetime invitation, come and see. Bring your honest wants to today's reading, and accept the invitation.

Samson's story starts with astonishing grace, an angel, a miracle birth, the Spirit stirring, and immediately tangles with his appetites; yet even his worst choices, the text whispers, were being folded into God's deliverance plan. God writes straight lines with crooked sticks, which is good news for every crooked stick reading this.

And the Lamb of God walks into that kind of world asking, what do you want? Andrew wanted to see where He stayed; Nathanael wanted proof; both got infinitely more than they asked. Answer the question honestly today, then take the standing invitation. Come and see is still how discipleship begins, and it never stops being the method.
