Jonathan looks up at a Philistine outpost on a cliff, turns to his young armor-bearer, and says one of Scripture's great faith sentences: perhaps the LORD will act in our behalf. Nothing can hinder the LORD from saving, whether by many or by few.

Two men climb; God does the rest. Today is for everyone whose resources look laughably small next to their assignment.

Jonathan's theology fits in one clause: nothing can hinder the LORD. He did not presume the outcome, perhaps the LORD will act, but he refused to let small numbers veto obedience. Faith moves at the size of God, not the size of the platoon, and heaven, that day, was recruiting climbers.

The last-day shout in the temple widens the offer: thirsty ones come, believe, and become conduits, rivers flowing out of ordinary people by the Spirit. Your few, loaves, shekels, minutes, courage, plus His river is always enough. Name the cliff you have been staring at, find your armor-bearer, and start climbing with perhaps on your lips.
