The old system never stopped moving: priests standing daily, year after year, offering the same sacrifices that could never finally take away sins. Then one Priest offered one sacrifice, and sat down.

The seated posture is the gospel told in furniture. Nothing is pending. Nothing needs topping up. Today, learn to rest your whole weight on a finished thing.

I found no one: God's search in Ezekiel 22 came back empty, no intercessor for the gap, and the city fell. Hebrews answers the vacancy across the centuries: One came who stood in the breach with His own blood, closed it once for all, and sat down. The gap in the wall has been personally filled.

Perfect forever those who are being made perfect: notice both tenses are yours. Your standing is finished; your growth is underway; neither depends on you re-earning what was sealed. Stop standing at altars Jesus retired. The seat next to His finished work has your name on it.
