You are not watching the wheel from the gallery. You are on it. That is better news than it first sounds.

The marred pot was not discarded. That is the gospel hiding in the potter's house: the same hands that felt the flaw folded the clay and began again, as seemed best to him. Marred is a middle chapter on that wheel, never the label on the shelf.

The tragedy is Judah's answer: it is no use, we will continue with our own plans, clay declining the only hands that could remake it. Psalm 81 grieves the same refusal, an open-mouth promise turned down flat. Stay soft today. The wheel is mercy in motion.
