Jeremiah files the complaint every honest believer eventually files: why does the way of the wicked prosper? God's answer is not an explanation. It is a training notice: if racing men has worn you out, how will you run with horses?

Some prayers get answers. Some get endurance assignments, and the second kind is easy to mistake for silence. Today, learn to receive both as the voice of the same Father.

God never explains the prospering wicked to Jeremiah. He resizes Jeremiah instead. The horse question assumes harder races coming and reframes present frustration as training load. It sounds harsh until you notice the compliment inside: God was conditioning him for a forty-year run.

Thessalonica shows the conditioned life in motion, faith that works, love that labors, hope that endures. Endurance is on the list because the course requires it. If today's pace is wearing you out, ask less why is this hard and more what is this strengthening. Somewhere ahead, there are horses.
