Paul skips his customary thanksgiving today and goes straight to astonishment: you are deserting the gospel for a counterfeit. His stakes could not be higher, because a distorted gospel saves no one.

Galatians is the epistle of liberation, written at full volume. Read it like your freedom depends on the difference between grace and grace-plus. It does.

Grace-plus-anything equals grace-minus-everything. That is Galatians' math, and Paul defends it with his life story: the man who earned his way harder than anyone discovered that earning was the problem. A gospel you complete is a gospel that never saves.

Isaiah's tears over Moab guard the tone. Truth without tenderness curdles, and Paul's fire in this letter burns because he loves these churches. Hold both today: zero tolerance for counterfeits, zero contempt for the people caught in them. That combination is the family resemblance of grace.
