God stakes His reputation on the open record today: I have not spoken in secret, from somewhere in a land of darkness. Truth that hides is not His style. He says what He will do, and then does it in daylight.

And Paul maps the church as one body growing toward one head. Nobody matures alone. Today is about a God who goes on record and a people who grow in public.

Refined, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction. God's honesty about His methods is bracing: exile itself was a refinery, chosen for His glory and their good, announced in advance so no idol could take credit. He does His deepest work on the record.

Ephesians 4 shows the finished product He is after: not polished individuals but a body, joined and held together, every ligament doing its work, growing up into Christ. Your furnace seasons are not private punishments. They are public preparation, for a body that needs what you are becoming.
