Isaiah 53 is holy ground. Do not rush it. Every line was waiting for a Friday afternoon outside Jerusalem, and every line was written for you.
Read the pronouns of Isaiah 53 again: our transgressions, our iniquities, our peace, and all of it laid on him. The chapter is an exchange rate posted in advance, everything ours that kills, traded for everything his that heals. Seven centuries before the nails, the invoice was already marked paid.
Ephesians hands the healed a vocation: walk in the way of love, as Christ loved and gave himself up. Husbands get it as a marriage standard, every believer gets it as a lifestyle, and none of us produces it. We spend it. By his wounds you were healed; from his wounds, now, you love.
