Isaiah sings a love song today, about a vineyard planted with total care that produced only bitter fruit. Then he turns to the crowd and hands them the verdict: you are the vineyard.

It is the Bible's gentlest trap and one of its saddest songs. Read it asking the only question that matters: what fruit is my carefully tended life actually producing?

The vineyard had everything: prime hillside, choice vines, a watchtower, a wall. Privilege was total, and the fruit was bloodshed. Isaiah's song warns every blessed life that inputs are not outcomes. God measures vineyards by grapes, not by landscaping.

Paul patrols the same vineyard wall in Corinth, because bad fruit often starts as a slightly different gospel, tolerated politely. A different Jesus never announces himself. He masquerades. So inspect your vines this week, doctrine and deeds together. The Gardener is looking for justice and righteousness, and He can tell the difference from a cry.
