How to Be Financially Free

It never looks like a trap. It looks like a deal.

No payments for 12 months. The credit card you said you'd pay off "next month," fourteen months ago. The car payment that's bigger than your rent. You and your spouse don't fight about much, but lately every money conversation comes with tension. And nobody would ever guess, because you're carrying it alone.

When we asked what you wanted to hear about, so many of you said the same thing: help, my finances are in trouble. So in Week 4, the final week of our series, You Asked For It, Brad opens one of the most famous stories Jesus ever told: a son who wanted it all now and ended up jealous of what the pigs were eating. With a real snare, a study on what a credit card does to what you're willing to spend, and a father who did something no man his age would do in public.

And this isn't a giving message. No offering pitch. This one is just for you.

If you've ever made a money decision you'd give anything to take back, this is for you.

If you've ever found yourself in a habit, a relationship, or a secret you never meant to get this deep into, this is for you.

If you've ever said "I'm fine" while you were drowning, this is for you.

And if you're so deep you've stopped believing there's a way out, this is especially for you.

Because Jesus told this story for people who think they've gone too far. And the son never even got to finish his speech.

You're snared. But you're not stuck.

No matter how deep you are, you can get out.
